TRAILER: 'The Lone Ranger' Rides Again with Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer
The second trailer for The Lone Ranger hit the Internet this morning, giving us a different look at the upcoming Disney film. While the first trailer for The Lone Ranger focused on the railroad aspect with a Tom Wilkinson voiceover, this trailer highlights the partnership between Armie Hammer's Lone Ranger and Johnny Depp's Tonto while also hinting at a more supernatural aspect to the film.
Can't say I'm surprised that they're adding some supernatural elements to The Lone Ranger. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski did the same with The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and look how successful they were with that one. There were rumors that the original version of this movie had werewolves too, but they may have been cut when they scaled back the budget.
Check out the trailer for The Lone Ranger after the jump. The movie hits theaters on July 3, 2013.
