Bryan Singer Tweets a Picture of 'X-Men: Days of Future Class' Version of Beast: How Does It Compare to Previous Versions of Beast?

There was a time when the only way to get new information about a movie was to wait for a studio to release an official image or a poster. In the age of Twitter, though, directors like Bryan Singer and Marc Webb freely release glimpses at their upcoming movies whenever they want. Singer did exactly that on Friday, tweeting out a look at X-Men: Days of Future Past's version of Beast.

Nicholas Hoult played the character in X-Men: First Class and reprises the role in the upcoming X-Men sequel. I wasn't a fan of the Beast makeup they used in First Class, but the picture Singer released for Days of Future Past makes it look like they've perfected the makeup this time. Or, at least it looks like makeup. Could they be going with CGI for this movie? In both First Class and X-Men: The Last Stand, where Kelsey Grammer played Beast, the character has always been realized through practical effects.

Check out the full picture of X-Men: Days of Future Past's Beast along with pics of First Class and The Last Stand's versions of the character after the jump.
