Chris Hemsworth Is Ready to Light It Up in First 'Thor: The Dark World' Poster

We haven't seen much from Thor: The Dark World yet, but the sequel to 2011 movie that launched Thor to the big screen does hits theaters in roughly seven months. Marvel's kicked off its promotion of the second movie in Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe by releasing the first poster for Thor: The Dark World on Friday. Marvel went with a "big Photoshopped heads" approach when it came for the poster for Thor, but the studio is sticking with a more character-heavy look, something they did heavily with Iron Man 3.

So what clues does this new poster offer? Well, Tom Hiddleston's name is right at the top, so I'm guessing Loki will play a big role in Thor: The Dark World even though we've heard very little when it comes to his involvement in the storyline. The fans who have been asking for Thor to actually wear his helmet in the movies will be let down here, as Chris Hemsworth is helmet-free.
