Why's So Blue, Jamie Foxx? First Look at 'Electro' from 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 had kept Jamie Foxx's villainous look under wraps since the role was announced, but once the actor went out in public to shoot, it didn't take long for a picture of the new Electro look to leak. Thanks to The Daily Mail, we have our first look at Foxx as Electro during the movie's Times Square shoot yesterday.

While most of Foxx is covered up by a hoodie, the silvery blue makeup makes it pretty clear that director Marc Webb is taking this character in a different direction than what fans of the comics are used to. Interestingly enough, Foxx's version of Electro seems to most resemble the version from Spider-Man: The New Animated Series, the short-lived MTV show where Peter Parker was voiced by Neil Patrick Harris.
