Kelsey Grammer Signs on For Villainous Role in 'Transformers 4' ... No, He's Not Playing a Transformer
Kelsey Grammer is no stranger to big-budget action films, having played Beast in X-Men: The Last Stand, nor is he a stranger to playing a villain thanks to his bad guy role in the TV show Boss. In Transformers 4, Grammer will get to combine those two talents, with Deadline reporting on Wednesday that the former Cheers and Fraiser star had signed on to play the villain in director Michael Bay's next installment in the Transformers franchise. The site also notes that Grammer's villain will be a human one.
Transformers 4 hits theaters on June 27, 2014. Grammer joins a cast that already includes Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Jack Reynor and Nichola Peltz.
