'The Walking Dead' Season 4 Gets a Crazy Badass Trailer

When The Walking Dead is at its best, it's a thrilling and intense TV show. Unfortunately, we haven't always gotten that version of the show, whether it's the characters sitting around the farm, looking for Sophia or hanging out at the prison. It looks like Season 4 is going to put those slow days behind us.

The Walking Dead released the first trailer for its fourth season during Comic-Con on Friday, giving fans an over-four-minute look at what the show has in store for us. It's insanely badass. The Grimes gang seems to have adapted to their situation, with a new entryway to the prison created, Carol teaching kids how to use knives and Glenn and Maggie doing engaged couple stuff. Despite all that, this new trailer makes it look like the world is about to collapse around Rick and his people.

The Walking Dead Season 4 debuts on Oct. 13 on AMC. Head past the jump to check out the trailer.
