TRAILER: Josh Brolin and Elizabeth Olsen Are Out for Revenge in Spike Lee's 'Oldboy' Remake

If you were imprisoned for 20 years by a person you didn't know and for a reason you didn't know, what would you do when you were released? Revenge, right? That's what Josh Brolin's character thinks he's going to do in director Spike Lee's remake of Oldboy, but those plans are abruptly changed when his character learned that whoever was holding him captive is now holding his daughter prisoner.

Oldboy is a remake of the South Korean film by Park Chan-wook, with Elizabeth Olsen, Samuel L. Jackson and Sharlto Copley also starring. Earlier this week, we got the first poster for the movie, but Yahoo! Movies trumped that poster with a red-band trailer on Wednesday. Now, I haven't seen the original Oldboy, and I'm told it's a fantastic film. Violent, but fantastic. Based on the first trailer for Lee's Oldboy, it looks like we're in for the same thing.

Oldboy hits theaters on Oct. 25. Head past the jump to check out the first trailer for the movie.
