Fan-Made Trailer for Superman/Batman Movie Shows Why Bryan Cranston Needs to Be Lex Luthor

Last week, Popculturology relayed a rumor that Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston would be playing Lex Luthor in the upcoming Superman/Batman movie. While Warner Bros. officially announced that Ben Affleck would be playing Batman last week, the studio has been mum on the possibility of Cranston playing the iconic villain. The original story reported that we wouldn't get official confirmation of this scoop until Breaking Bad wrapped up in September, so for now, we're just going to have to hope that the possibility of Cranston playing Lex Luthor someday comes true.

In the meantime, though, an official confirmation didn't stop YouTube user soylentbrak1 from piecing together an awesome fan-made trailer for the Superman/Batman movie. Hopefully Warner Bros. is paying attention to this. Not only does this fake trailer show how great Cranston could be as Luthor, but the studio now has to trump what a fan did in his own time.
