'Happy Endings' Star Eliza Coupe Joins Will Arnett's 'The Millers' in a Recurring Role

With Happy Endings canceled (WHY, TV GODS? WHY?), the show's stars have slowly dispersed to other series. Adam Pally will have a guest role on The Mindy Project. Damon Wayans Jr. will return to New Girl. Casey Wilson has a development deal with ABC studios. On Wednesday, Entertainment Weekly reported that Eliza Coupe would join The Millers in a recurring role. Coupe joins Will Arnett, Beau Bridges, Margo Martindale and Jayma Mays on the upcoming CBS sitcom.
The actress has been snagged by CBS’s forthcoming comedy The Millers, EW has learned exclusively. She will recur on the show as the ex-wife of Nate (Will Arnett) and first appear in the Oct. 24 episode.
OK, so now we just need Elisha Cuthbert and Zachary Knighton to find new roles, and then the whole Happy Endings gang will have found new jobs.

Speaking of Happy Endings, I'm starting to grow worried that there hasn't been a word about the show's third and final season coming to DVD. By now, pretty much every other fall show has a DVD release date. Not releasing the past season to DVD would be the final slap in the face to Happy Endings fans.
