'Justified' Star Timothy Olyphant to Guest Star on 'The Mindy Project'
If you're already on a TV show (or if you were on Happy Endings, which got canceled*), there's a good chance that you'll also be making a guest appearance on the upcoming season of The Mindy Project. With James Franco and Adam Pally already signed on for stints, The Los Angeles Times reported on Monday that Justified star Timothy Olyphant would also be appearing during the show's sophomore season.
Olyphant will ditch the boots, hat and laid-back swagger of Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens for a ... skateboard. The actor is set to play Graham Logan, "a wild, professional skateboarder in his mid-40s who nearly runs Mindy over in Union Square before asking her out on a date."Olyphant already cameos as a Japanese culture-obsessed sushi chef on The League, so a "wild, professional skateboarder in his mid-40s" will be just another out-there role for him to tackle. TV awards have criminally ignored Olyphant's performance on Justified. Hopefully getting him onto a network show or two will get audiences interested in the guy. Why isn't he a star at this point?
*Dammit.
