'Jurassic Park IV' Becomes 'Jurassic World' and Locks in June 2015 Release Date

In 2015, a park won't be big enough to hold the dinosaurs that science has brought back to life. If the new Colin-Trevorrow-directed Jurassic Park sequel has its way, the entire world will belong to the T-rex and his prehistoric friends. Welcome to Jurassic World.

While 2015 may have lost a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie, the year locked in a date for Jurassic World, the fourth Jurassic Park movie. Jurassic World was originally slated for 2014, but Universal decided to hold it in order to "to bring audiences the best possible version of the fourth installment in Universal’s beloved franchise."

No word yet on whether or not any of the stars from the first three Jurassic Park movies will be back for the upcoming installment. Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum shared Jurassic Park while Goldblum led The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Neill returned for Jurassic Park III.
