Seth MacFarlane and Mark Wahlberg's 'Ted' Sequel Gets June 2015 Release Date

I guess when you've got your thunder buddy by your side, you're not afraid to jump right into the very crowded 2015 movie calendar. On Wednesday, Universal Pictures announced that Ted 2 will open on June 26, 2015. This date was originally claimed by the Terminator reboot, but was left vacant when that movie moved to July 1, 2015. Like I said, very crowded 2015 movie calendar.

The original Ted also opened in June, which worked out pretty well for everyone involved. The R-rated comedy opened with $54.42 million, eventually grossing $218.82 million domestically. So far just writer/director/voice-of-Ted Seth MacFarlane and Mark Wahlberg have been confirmed as returning for the sequel. Mila Kunis has to return for Ted 2 too, right?
