'How I Met Your Mother' Actress Ashley Williams to Star in Jim Gaffigan Pilot

Ashley Williams, who's best known to a lot of us as Victoria on How I Met Your Mother, will star in Jim Gaffigan's unnamed pilot, playing the comedian's wife, Deadline reports. According to the site, Williams' character is "a super-wife and super-mom, possessing a seemingly unlimited storehouse of energy, encouragement, patience and good humor." Gee, sounds like another "schlubby guy with a hot wife" sitcom. No offense, Jim.

This pilot is for CBS, making it the second time Williams has worked with the network after her several appearances on HIMYM. Williams will actually be on HIMYM one last time before the series ends, probably appearing sometime in April. Fingers crossed she's back as Classic Victoria.
