New 'Pompeii' Poster: In Case of Volcanic Emergency, Start Making Out

According to the new poster for Pompeii, the smartest thing to do during a catastrophic volcano emergency is to just start making out in front of it. I would critique this response plan, but I was part of an office once that just ran out of our building during an earthquake, making sure to take our personal belongings in the process. I guess I'm not the best person to criticize emergency protocol.

Here's the official plot synopsis of Pompeii:

Set in 79 A.D., Pompeii tells the epic story of Milo (Kit Harington), a slave turned invincible gladiator who finds himself in a race against time to save his true love Cassia (Emily Browning), the beautiful daughter of a wealthy merchant who has been unwillingly betrothed to a corrupt Roman Senator. As Mount Vesuvius erupts in a torrent of blazing lava, Milo must fight his way out of the arena in order to save his beloved as the once magnificent Pompeii crumbles around him.

So it's like Gladiator/Titanic mashup but with a volcano?

Pompeii stars Kit Harrington, Emily Browning, Kiefer Sutherland, Jared Harris, Jessica Lucas, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Carrie-Anne Moss. Paul WS Anderson directs. The movie opens on Feb. 21, 2014.
