'Monsters University' Short 'Party Central' Will Run Before 'Muppets Most Wanted'

While we won't get a full-length Pixar movie in 2014, fans of the studio won't have to go an entire year without something new from Pixar. Disney will run Party Central, a short based on the Oozma Kappa fraternity from Monsters University, in front of Muppets Most Wanted.

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we got our first image from Party Central on Tuesday. According to EW, the short tells the story of how the frat's attempt at throwing their first party went.

"When you first meet the Oozma Kappas, they go to their fraternity house and the first thing they say is, 'Welcome to party central! We haven't thrown a party yet, but when we do we'll be ready,'" Party Central writer-director Kelsey Mann told EW. "I kept telling [Monsters University director Dan Scanlon], 'I really want to see their party. We have to do it in the credits or something.' Then when the idea of doing a short came up, we were like, 'That could be the party!'"

Muppets Most Wanted opens on March 21, which means we have a few months until we can check out Party Central.
