'Godzilla' Destroys San Francisco in New Poster

Watch out, San Francisco. Godzilla is coming for you. In a new poster released by Yahoo! Movies on Thursday, the iconic monster stomps through the city while a few tiny soldiers HALO jump toward him. While the soldiers imagery comes from the movie's trailer and a previous poster, the image of Godzilla himself is new … and — wow — he's huge.

We've seen big monsters before. The original Godzilla stomped his way through Tokyo and the previous Americanized version did some damage in New York City, but director Gareth Edwards' take on the monster dwarfs those creatures.

I can't wait to see this movie. Everything Warner Bros. has released so far looks amazing. The first trailer for Godzilla blew me away. Here's hoping the movie does delivers too. We'll know on May 16.
