Johnny Depp Plugs In on New 'Transcendence' Poster

Transcendence will be the directorial debut of Wally Pfister, Christopher Nolan's longtime cinematographer. The film tells the story of a man (played by Johnny Depp) who abandons his dying body and uploads himself into the digital world. Transcendence seems very Nolan-esque, playing on ideas of what makes someone (or something) human.

The film got what I think is its first official poster on Monday, featuring a man (who I'm assuming is Depp) with wires and diodes running from his shaved head.

Transcendence opens on April 17.
