Charlie Brown and Snoopy Come Alive in First 'Peanuts' Trailer
The first trailer for the Peanuts movie debuted on Tuesday morning. Should fans be groaning, "Good grief!" yet?
Well, like my previous reactions with this movie, this trailer evoked emotions from two opposite ends of the spectrum. The opening fanfare with the pan out to reveal Charlie Brown's head was something Charles Schulz would never have done. So I was already grumbling to myself.
But then the classic Peanuts theme kicked in. And Charlie Brown sounded like Charlie Brown. So did Snoopy. So did Woodstock. So far, so good, right? Those three characters could have easily been voiced by Justin Bieber, Larry the Cable Guy and Ice Cube.
Watch the first trailer for Peanuts and see what you think. The movie opens on Nov. 6, 2015.
