'Star Wars: Episode VII' Will Take Place 30 Years After 'Return of the Jedi,' Begins Shooting in May
Things are about to get very exciting for Star Wars fans. On Tuesday, Disney and Lucasfilm announced that principal photography on Star Wars: Episode VII will begin in May. With only a few months before director JJ Abrams begins rolling cameras on the sequel, we should be able to expect casting announcements to be coming soon.
According to the StarWars.com press release, "Star Wars: Episode VII is set about 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, and will star a trio of new young leads along with some very familiar faces." Hmmm, some very familiar faces? Anyone wanna guess who those three familiar faces could be? I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure we're not talking about the guys who played Lobot, the rancor trainer and the Mos Eisley cantina bartender.
Star Wars: Episode VII opens on Dec. 18, 2015.
