Matthew Vaughn's 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' Gets a Trailer and Poster

Movies based on Mark Millar books can be hit-or-miss. Kick-Ass, Kick-Ass 2 and Wanted all looked cool, but when it came down to story, things got shaky. We'll be able to give another Millar-based movie a shot this fall when Kingsman: The Secret Service opens.

Based on a graphic novel by Millar and Watchmen artist Dave Gibbons, Kingsman: The Secret Service is about a secret society that considers itself the new knights of the world. Colin Firth plays the main agent in the movie, with Taron Egerton playing his protege.

The first poster and trailer for Kingsman: The Secret Service were released this week. (The poster was a ComingSoon.net exclusive.)

Kingsman: The Secret Service was directed by Matthew Vaughn and stars First, Egerton, Michael Caine, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong and Mark Hamill. It opens on Oct. 24.
