'Mad Max: Fury Road' Features an Intense Tom Hardy
We're a day late bringing the new Mad Max: Fury Road trailer to you, but based on the reaction it got at Comic-Con, it's something we should share.
Director George Miller returns to the franchise he started in 1979. Mel Gibson is gone, and we now have Tom Hardy in his place. The trailer for Fury Road is very light on talking, but heavy on action. Miller has mentioned that he wants this movie to be one long, epic chase scene, and that appears to be what we're getting here.
Mad Max: Fury Road definitely looks intense, which makes sense considering reports that Hardy's on-set demeanor freaked out Charlize Theron. That's Hardy's thing — being intense. Go ask Batman.
Fury Road stars Hardy, Theron, Nicholas Hoult and Zoe Kravitz. The movie opens on May 15, 2015.
