Has the Title of 'The Avengers 3' Been Revealed?

The Avengers haven't even dealt with the Age of Ultron yet, but that doesn't mean that we can't start speculating what The Avengers 3 will be called. We know that the Avengers will finally be dealing with Thanos and the threat of his Infinity Gauntlet — could that be a part of the title?

According to This Is Infamous, the answer to that question is yes. After Avengers: Age of Ultron, we'll be going to Avengers: Infinity. (Not too sure about anything beyond.)

This Is Infamous notes that if this is the title, Marvel Studios will have passed on the obvious title Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet. Curious, huh? While we've all been thinking that Marvel would base the third Avengers on the Infinity Gauntlet series of comics, the subtitle Infinity could hint that the studio is also going to draw from the Infinity miniseries that was published in 2013.

Marvel used the Infinity miniseries to bring the Inhumans back to the forefront, with Black Bolt going up against Thanos over the identity of Thanos' son, Thane, after Thanos unleashed a Terrigen Bomb that created a new population of Inhumans. With the Inhumans looming large in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the studio may be preparing to scramble the plot of Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity to make that happen.

This Is Famous does consider Avengers: Infinity to be the working title. so there's always the chance Marvel could come up with something else.
