The New 'Hunger Games' Poster Is Something Jennifer Lawrence Actually Wants You to See

Jennifer Lawrence is a two-time Oscar-winning actress. She the star of a franchise that's grossed more than $1.5 billion worldwide. Oh, and she's a person who has a right to privacy.

Unfortunately, all of that has been forgotten this past week thanks to the hacking of Lawrence and several other female celebrities' personal photos. Our focus shouldn't be on those pictures — it should be on things like the new poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1.

The new poster hit the Internet on Thursday. I was going to say that the poster shows a darker side to The Hunger Games, but unlike the Harry Potter franchise, this one didn't get darker as the books/movies have progressed. When you're telling a story about kids killing kids, it's always dark.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 opens on Nov. 21.
