'You're the Worst' Gets Second Season Renewal, Shifts to FXX

Between marathons of Chopped and putting the DVR in my new apartment to work, FX's You're the Worst started to grow on me. The freshman sitcom found a way to reinvent the TV romantic comedy in a way that didn't come off as incredibly hokey and fake.

With You're the Worst wrapping up its first season without a second-season pickup, fans of the show were expecting, well, the worst. Those worries were put to rest on Tuesday,  with FX renewing both You're the Worst and Married. You're the Worst will shift to FXX for its second season while Married will remain on the FX mothership. Both shows will get bumped up from 10 episodes to 13.

Hopefully FXX can find a spot to air You're the Worst once a week during 800 hours of The Simpsons.
