Seth Rogen to Play Steve Wozniak in STEVE JOBS Biopic
Ready to hear the words "Seth Rogen, Oscar nominee"? The actor will play Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in Sony's upcoming Steve Jobs biopic, according to a Variety report.
Steve Jobs is an Oscar contender in the making, with Christian Bale starring as Steve Jobs, Danny Boyle directing, Aaron Sorkin writing the screenplay and Scott Rudin producing. The duo of Sorkin and Rudin drew acclaim for The Social Network.
The addition of Rogen to the cast very much reminds me of when Jonah Hill was cast in Moneyball. That film turned Hill from a comedic actor to a two-time Oscar nominee. Surrounding Rogen with talent like Bale, Boyle and Sorkin could cause the Superbad star to raise his acting game.
Variety also reports that Jessica Chastain is in talks to join Steve Jobs for an unknown role.
Steve Jobs doesn't have a release date yet.
