Shailene Woodley and Chris Pratt Named Two of GQ's Men of the Year

GQ named its Men of the Year for 2014 on Monday, rattling off a list that included Chris Pratt, Dave Chappelle, Steve Carell, Michael Sam, Ansel Elgort ... and Shailene Woodley.

Yes, the Divergent star made the cut, continuing a long line of women who cracked the GQ glass ceiling to make their annual list of notable people. (Woodley follows in the footsteps of women like Mila Kunis and Emily Ratajkowski.)

The magazine hasn't published its full package of Men of the Year articles yet. Hopefully there's mention in Woodley's piece that 2014 is probably just the beginning for the actress. She had Divergent and The Fault in Our Stars this year, but next year brings a Divergent sequel and (if talks are successful) a role in director Oliver Stone's Edward Snowden movie.

GQ did publish its Chris Pratt article, and it's full of classic tales of the man who became America's best friend over the summer. According to his interview with GQ, Pratt tried to pitch Star-Lord being fat in Guardians of the Galaxy, saying: "You can make a talking raccoon that looks real ... Why can't I just be fat?" Obviously that didn't happen. 

Like Woodley, Pratt's 2014 was just the year that kicked off a new level of stardom for the actor. We'll see him in Jurassic World next year, with sequels to The Lego Movie and Guardians of the Galaxy in the future too.
