EMPIRE Unveils AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Covers; Joss Whedon 'Very Doubtful' to Direct INFINTY WAR Sequels

Avengers: Age of Ultron is just over three months away, so you can expect Disney and Marvel Studios to really start cranking up the media push for the movie now. For example, the movie scored the new cover of Empire.

Actually, make that covers.

The main cover features the main eight superheroes: Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. It appears that Marvel is still keeping Paul Bettany's Vision under wraps for now.

The second cover is all Ultron. The villain, voiced and motion-capture performed by James Spader, get his close-up on that one.

Inside the issue, director Joss Whedon reveals that Age of Ultron will most likely be his last Avengers movie.

"I couldn't imagine doing this again," Whedon says to Empire (via CBM). "It's enormously hard, and it will be, by then, a good five years since I created anything that was completely my own. So it's very doubtful that I would take on the two-part Infinity War movie that would eat up the next four years of my life. I obviously still want to be a part of the Marvel Universe — I love these guys — but it ain't easy. This year has been more like running three shows than any year of my life. It is bonkers."

We've heard rumors already that Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War directors Joe and Anthony Russo are Marvel's picks to helm the Avengers: Infinity War movies.
