REPORT: Steven Spielberg Wants to Direct Chris Pratt in INDIANA JONES Reboot

If all the reports we've been getting are to be believed, we're on the verge of getting an Indiana Jones movie starring Chris Pratt and directed by Steven Spielberg. After reporting last month that Disney wants Pratt to star in the Indy reboot, Deadline followed that story with a report on Friday that Spielberg wants to be the guy to direct the fifth Indiana Jones installment.

There's still a long way to go before this pairing becomes reality. Disney has yet to greenlight a new Indiana Jones movie, and there's been no word if the new film would be a complete reboot or if it would existence in the continuity established by the four existing Indiana Jones movies. There also isn't even a script for the movie.

Pratt and Spielberg already have a working relationship, with Pratt starring in Jurassic World, which Spielberg is an executive producer on.
