Zack Snyder Unveils Jason Momoa as Aquaman in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

That wimpy blond Aquaman that everyone makes fun of? Gone. Zack Snyder unveiled the first look at Jason Momoa as Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on Friday, and this take on the character is nothing like what we've previously known.

The former Game of Thrones star already warned us that he wouldn't be going blond for Batman v Superman. Like Snyder's takes on the costumes for Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, his version of Aquaman is much more mutated take than the usual green and orange/yellow.

Aquaman will make his solo movie debut on July 27, 2018, but we'll first see him in March 2016's Batman v Superman. Momoa is expected to have a cameo that will debut his character, much like we'll see Wonder Woman and Cyborg in that film.

One of the more intriguing parts of about the first picture of Momoa as Aquaman is the tagline "Unite the Seven." Aquaman is king of the ocean and there are seven seas, so that could be what Snyder is referring to. There are also seven members of the Justice League lineup that Warner Bros. is rolling out (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern and Cyborg) — could this tagline be a sign of six more posters to come?
