'Hit and Run' Trailer: Dax Shepard Is a Getaway Driver and Bradley Cooper Has Dreadlocks

For the longest time, I wasn't a fan of Dax Shepard. I thought he was annoying and a bad actor. Nothing he was in appealed to me. Then came NBC's Parenthood. Yes, I watch Parenthood. And I'm a huge fan. Like "would've been angry at NBC if they canceled it" level of fan. Anyway, Shepard, through his role as Crosby on Parenthood, has completely changed the opinion I had of him. Which is why I'm passing along the trailer for Hit and Run, a film that he stars in and wrote and co-directed.

Basic premise: Shepard plays a former getaway driver now being hunted down by Bradley Cooper's character, who had spent time in jail due to their past crimes. Cooper has dreadlocks. Kristen Bell, Shepard's real-life fiancé, plays Shepard's girlfriend in Hit and Run. Interestingly enough, Joy Bryant appears to play Cooper's girlfriend or a member of his gang in this movie. Bryant plays Shepard's wife in Parenthood. She's a dancer (no, not that kind) in Parenthood, so I would have to imagine that her Hit and Run character is a bit different.
