TRAILER: Baz Luhrmann and Leonardo DiCaprio's 'The Great Gatsby' Isn't Your High School English 'Gatsby'

When I clicked "Play" to begin watching the just-released trailer for Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, I definitely wasn't expecting to be met with Frank Ocean's part of No Church in the Wild. Or for that to be followed up by U2's Love Is Blindness. And then I remembered — this is Luhrmann, the same guy who directed Romeo+Juliet and Moulin Rouge!. There was no way he was going to make The Great Gatsby and not give it his own twist.

This film looks like it's going to be a contender come Oscar season. With a cast boasting Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgerton and a Christmas Day release date, I would be shocked if The Great Gatsby isn't part of the Best Picture conversation.
