Will Smith Appears on 'Jimmy Fallon,' Leaves the Kids at Home

In case you hadn't heard, Will Smith has some indie film called Men in Black III hitting theaters today. After a three-year absence from movies, this is Smith's big return. It's great to see Will Smith back in movies. His kids have dominated pop culture for the past few years, which is too bad. We got to see Smith become famous on his own, giving the world one of our greatest treasures: The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. His kids on the other hand? Famous because their dad is Will Smith, and he can buy them things like the Karate Kid franchise.

Even his kids realize that it's time for Smith to get back onto the big screen. On Thursday's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Smith mentioned that his daughter Willow asked him, "Daddy, when are you going to work on your own stuff?" Good question, kid.

After the usual talk-show chat, Jimmy Fallon and Smith shared some rare footage of their grandfathers, Will "Sunnyside" Smith and James "Fatty Monroe" Fallon, performing together. Their songs sound oddly familiar ...

Can someone explain why Will Smith yells "Hot peanuts!" after each song?
