'The Amazing Spider-Man' Clip Gets to the Chase

As Sony continues to build up excitement for The Amazing Spider-Man, the studio released another clip from the movie today.

The clip is basically a demo of Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man swinging through the streets and climbing over cars and trucks, but it does give us a look at how this reboot differs from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy. When Spider-Man was swinging through the streets in those films, he was always very graceful. Marc Webb's Spider-Man appears to move in a much more erratically, climbing over trucks in a herky-jerky way.

Between this clip and last night's clip of Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy, we're definitely getting a better idea of how The Amazing Spider-Man is going to be different from its predecessors.
