Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel Officially Join 'Boy Meets World' Sequel Series
Popculturology has been breathlessly bringing you updates on the year's biggest pop culture news (no, not the Star Wars sequel — well, yes, that too): Girl Meets World, the sequel series to Boy Meets World. When the series was first announced, the Disney Channel hoped to get Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, the original series' stars, to sign on, but no deal was in place at the time. Well, good news. This thing is happening now.
Savage and Fishel have officially signed on, according to a TVLine report.
There's still work to do, Disney Channel. Boy Meets World stars Rider Strong, Will Friedle and William Daniels still need to be brought on board. With Grey's Anatomy recently killing off Daniels' character, the actor should be available to return as Mr. Feeny.
