TRAILER: Does a Zombie-Human Romance Have Any Hope in 'Warm Bodies'?

Looks like Brad Pitt's World War Z isn't the only movie trying to put a new spin on the zombie genre next year. While World War Z is turning the creatures into mindless swarms, Warm Bodies is injecting a bit of humanity back into the popular creatures. Jonathan Levine, who directed last year's superb 50/50, directs the tale of a zombie who falls in love with a human girl. Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer play the zombie and human leads.

I love that Warm Bodies has created zombies that even the zombies fear, while at the same time giving the regular zombies their own culture and society. Had I Am Legend stuck to its source material, that's exactly what we should've seen from that movie.

Warm Bodies is out on Feb. 1, 2013. The film also stars John Malkovich, Dave Franco, Rob Corddry and Analeigh Tipton. Head past the jump to check out the movie's trailer.
