Your Guide to Jeremy Renner Hosting 'Saturday Night Live' Tomorrow

Jeremy Renner will host Saturday Night Live this Saturday with music guest Maroon 5. Here's what you need to know about the upcoming episode.

Has Renner hosted SNL before?
Nope. This is his first time.

What do we know Renner from?
Renner started off with small roles in films like 28 Weeks Later and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. He was nominated for the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in 2008's Hurt Locker and nominated for the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in 2010's The Town. Renner blew up this past summer with starring roles in The Avengers and The Bourne Legacy.

Has Maroon 5 appeared on SNL before?
Yup. This will be the band's fourth SNL appearance. Their most famous appearance was probably in 2007 when frontman Adam Levine appeared in the Iran So Far Digital Short.

Anything we should expect from this episode?
With the presidential election over, political humor will probably take a back seat. Celebrity chef Guy Fieri had an interesting week, with The New York Times publishing a scathingly humorous review about his restaurant. Don't be surprised to see Bobby Moynihan break out his backwards sunglasses and frosted tips to play Fieri. If SNL does go political, the Nancy Pelosi-Luke Russert exchange from earlier in the week could be fair game. With Kristen Wiig gone, though, who plays Pelosi?
