PICS: Ashley Tisdale Gets a 'Maxim' Cover, But That's Still Not an Excuse to See 'Scary Movie V'

Scary Movie V hits theaters this Friday, and nobody is going to see it. In an age where the Internet can parody something before it even happens, why would anyone pay to see a movie that parodies Black Swan and Inception years after those movies had their moment? Seriously.

Unlike her High School Musical costars Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale hasn't really found post-Disney success. She had a music career for a few minutes and has actually done a bunch of voice work, but she's not exactly burning down the box office. Unfortunately for her Tisdale, that's not going to change with Scary Movie V.

While Tisdale isn't starring in movies based on Nicholas Sparks books or featuring makeout sessions with James Franco, she is on the cover of the latest issue of Maxim. That's an accomplishment, right? You can check out the pics from her Maxim shoot after the jump, and answer that question yourself.
