'I Wish I Was Never Born': Ted's Kids Revolt in 'How I Met Your Mother' Video

Since pretty much the first season of How I Met Your Mother, people have made fun of the idea that Ted Mosby's kids have spent an incredibly long time on the couch listening to their father tell the story of how he met their mother. People have also noted that Ted's stories were often the kind of stories a dad shouldn't be telling their kids — hookups, Barney's sexual conquests, riding the tricycle — and wondered how those kids could have suffered for so long.

With HIMYM's first Comic-Con appearance, the show poked fun at all those thoughts, reuniting Lyndsy Fonseca and David Henrie, the duo who once played Ted's daughter and son. For most of the past seven seasons, HIMYM resorted to stock footage of the kids, as they had long outgrown the roles, and despite the joke that they had been listening to Ted's story for eight years, they weren't supposed to age. Well, we now know what they look like ... and we know that they haven't enjoyed the past eight years.

The HIMYM video is quite creative, very funny and hits pretty much every issue fans have brought up. Head past the jump to check it out.
