Have Mercy! John Stamos Leads a Reunited Jesse and the Rippers on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'

If there was any doubt that Jimmy Fallon was the most pop culture-savvy of the late-night hosts, that conversation should have been settled on Friday night when he reunited Jesse and the Rippers. I don't even know whether or not I should write this post and refer to the real actors playing characters during this segment or just keep acting as if Uncle Jesse and his band are real people.

If we're going to acknowledge that Full House was just a TV show and there were actors playing roles on it, then John Stamos, Bob Saget and Lori Loughlin were all on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Friday night. If we're going to accept that Jesse and the Rippers are a real band, then Jesse reunited his band, Danny Tanner was in the audience and Becky kissed Jesse on stage after his performance. I much more prefer the second version of events.

I also love how excited Fallon is to announce this performance. This guy loves what he does. So long, Jay Leno.
