Bryan Cranston Denies Lex Luthor Rumors
A few weeks ago, we got a rumor that Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston would be playing Lex Luthor in the upcoming Superman/Batman movie. The rumor claimed that Warner Bros. was waiting until Breaking Bad wrapped up in order to take advantage of the finale's buzz. In addition, the report said that Cranston's deal would put the actor in six Justice League universe movies.
If this report was true, there would be a few people who should definitely know about it. Cranston would obviously be one of them. In an interview with the Boston Globe, Cranston pretty much debunked the idea that he would be playing Lex.
While this casting could still come true, it sounds like Cranston wants to avoid getting typecast as a bald villain. Director Zack Snyder could always give us a different version of the iconic villain, but maybe finding an actor would hasn't already been the bald villain would be a good idea.

“I’ve heard that too,” he said. And what about those reports that he’s signed to play Luthor in as many as six “Man of Steel” movies? He laughed. “Six? This is all news to me. I think that maybe my name is bandied about because I’m known to be bald. ‘What bald guy can we get?’ The reality is they can take any actor and shave his head or put a bald cap on him.”
