Darn.
ORIGINAL POST: Like any normal kid in the 1990s, I got to listen to R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" get played at my fifth-grade moving-up ceremony, which means Space Jam holds a very, very important place in my life. This makes the news that Warner Bros. is (finally) moving ahead with a sequel to Space Jam all the more exciting.
Yes, this isn't a joke. There is actually a sequel to Space Jam happening. According to Deadline, the sequel is being developed as a starring vehicle for LeBron James. The first Space Jam had a ton of NBA cameos, but the biggest and most important cameo in that movie was Bill Murray. Warner Bros. better do everything it can to get Murray back for this sequel. He made two Garfield movies, so Murray has no excuse to not come back for a second Space Jam.
I leave you with Yahoo!'s excellent 30 for 30 spoof about Space Jam. You can also still check out the original Space Jam website.
