'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' Gets a Logo

After renaming the third The Hobbit movie, a rebranding was in order. On Thursday, Warner Bros. unveiled the new logo for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. (Spoiler alert: It looks exactly like all the other The Hobbit logos.)

Director Peter Jackson announced this past week that the final The Hobbit movie would be resubtitled The Battle of the Five Armies, dropping its previous subtitle of There and Back Again.

"There and Back Again felt like the right name for the second of a two film telling of the quest to reclaim Erebor, when Bilbo’s arrival there, and departure, were both contained within the second film," Jackson said in a Facebook post. "But with three movies, it suddenly felt misplaced—after all, Bilbo has already arrived 'there' in the Desolation of Smaug."

The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies will open on Dec. 17.
