Christopher Nolan and Matthew McConaughey Take to the Stars in 'Interstellar' Trailer

For a man who's directed films like The Dark Knight and Inception, Christopher Nolan may still be on the verge of giving us his masterpiece. A new trailer for the director's next film, Interstellar, debuted on Wednesday, showing off a movie that appears to take the best parts of Inception, Gravity, 2001: A Space Odyssey and anything great that Matthew McConaughey has recently done.

In Interstellar, McConaughey plays a man who joins a mission into space to find a way to save humanity from a world that finds itself running out of food. Nolan has promised us time travel and wormholes, so expect a much more intricate plot than what I just described.

Interstellar stars McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Topher Grace, John Lithgow, David Oyelowo, Wes Bentley and Matt Damon. The movie opens on Nov. 7.
