Comedian James Corden to Replace Craig Ferguson as 'Late Late Show' Host
CBS has found the next host of The Late Late Show. According to TheWrap, the network has chosen comedian James Corden to replace Craig Ferguson.
Corden isn't a well-known entity to American audiences. He'll be seen this fall in Disney's Into the Woods, but other than that, Corden has been in several acclaimed British series and plays. Corden will become the youngest of the four major late-night hosts, just 35 compared to Jimmy Fallon (39), Stephen Colbert (50) and Seth Meyers (40).
Ferguson announced in April that he would leave The Late Late Show this December. After Ferguson was passed over to replace David Letterman as host of Late Show, his departure from CBS wasn't unexpected.
