Jessica Alba Lands 'Maxim' Cover, Says She Doesn't Want 'Fantastic Four' to Be Her Legacy
Jessica Alba is on the cover of the latest issue of Maxim. Which is strange, since Alba has been appearing on Maxim covers since I was in high school ... and I just attended by ten-year high school reunion this past weekend. That's pretty good longevity for an actress in a business that has no problem moving onto the newest pretty face.
Alba's experiencing some kind of resurgence right now, previously appearing on the cover of Entertainment Weekly's "Summer Must List" issue. The actress will star in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For this month, returning to the big screen in a major role for the first time in years.
In her interview with Maxim, Alba talked about putting time into her family and creating a legacy that would go beyond the movies she has appeared in.
"After I had my daughter, it was all so clear that unless you have a personal life, in your eulogy they’re not going to sit there and say, Fantastic Four made this at the box office," Alba said to Maxim. "It's going to be, 'She was there for me in the middle of the night when I was throwing up and couldn’t get out of bed.'"
That totally explains why Alba is playing a stripper again in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
