'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Sequel Is Coming in June 2016

People don't see Michael Bay movies since they're good movies, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot opened to $65 million this past weekend. Paramount Pictures didn't waste any time in setting the next Bay-driven box office champ into motion, announcing that a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel will hit theaters on June 3, 2016.

No word yet on what Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will focus on or which characters will be back. With Megan Fox's April O'Neil being the main character in the current film, she should be back for the sequel — unless she happens to call Bay "Hitler" again.

Between the Transformers franchise and TMNT franchise, Paramount is pretty much being completely funded by Bay now.
