Marvel Unveils First Look at 'Daredevil' Netflix Series

Ben Affleck may be ruling the box office in Gone Girl, but his old role of Daredevil got some attention over the weekend too. Marvel Studios unveiled our first look at Charlie Cox as the title character in the upcoming Daredevil Netflix series during New York Comic Con.

The Daredevil series will launch Netflix's corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be followed by Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage series and a The Defenders miniseries. Marvel got rights to Daredevil back a few years ago after Fox couldn't get another movie based on the character off the ground.

Daredevil will premiere in May 2015, with the entire series being available for binge-watching at once. Classic Netflix. In addition to Cox, Daredevil will star Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson and Vincent D'Onofrio.
