'Masters of Sex' Star Lizzy Caplan in Talks to Join 'Now You See Me' Sequel as Female Lead

Lizzy Caplan is already one of the Masters of Sex — will she master magic next? Caplan is in negotiations to join Now You See Me 2 as the female lead, TheWrap reported on Tuesday.

With Isla Fisher pregnant, the upcoming sequel to 2013's Now You See Me is looking for a new female lead, and it sounds like director Jon M. Chu and company want Caplan. According to TheWrap, Caplan has an offer for the film, but she has to clear her schedule with Masters of Sex before signing on.

Caplan would join a Now You See Me 2 cast featuring Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Michael Caine and Daniel Radcliffe. The movie is set to open on June 10, 2016.
