BOX OFFICE: 'The Avengers' Passed $600M on Tuesday

The Avengers became only the third film to ever pass the $600 million domestic box office mark on Tuesday. The film joins Avatar ($760.51 million) and Titanic ($658.67 million) in the $600 million club.

I'm still very curious to see if The Avengers has the legs to pass Titanic for the No. 2 spot. With Titanic and Avatar, James Cameron has dominated the top of the all-time box office chart for years. If Disney and Marvel's The Avengers could break up that grouping, it would be pretty impressive.
