Wendy Is Real (and Not Alyson Hannigan)
If you happened to be watching Community or another one of NBC's offerings tonight, you might have caught the latest Wendy's commercial, a commercial I first thought starred How I Met Your Mother's Alyson Hannigan. Upon further review, I realized it wasn't Hannigan playing the real-life version of Wendy, but instead an unknown actress by the name of Morgan Smith Goodwin.
Gotta say, it's kind of weird to see Wendy as a real (and attractive) person instead of just the pigtailed caricature that's represented the fast-food restaurant for decades.

I knew it wasn't Alyson Hannigan immediately, but the resemblences did make me wonder enough to look it up and see if they were sisters or something (which led me to here and the answer... nope).

ReplyDeleteNow the REAL Wendy Thomas is doing some of their ads... She's fat and oogly. I'd MUCH rather see Morgan exclusively. She's VERY cute!

ReplyDeleteReally? I knew right off the bat they were not the same person, and were not related. Also, there already being a "real life Wendy" isn't news, because she WAS in the commercials before, and she was fat and looked like she ate at McDonald's a lot. Did everyone forget about that??
